WeiserMazars Women's Network
WeiserMazars LLP has a long-outstanding commitment to equality and diversity. One of WeiserMazars objectives has always been to attract the best and the brightest people to the firm. The WeiserMazars Women’s Network (WMWN) assists in ensuring that the highest caliber female professionals are recruited and retained.
The mission of the WeiserMazars Women’s Network is to focus on career development for women at WeiserMazars and to provide the opportunities for women to achieve and demonstrate their fullest professional potential and personal growth through mentoring, networking (both internal and external), and continuing professional education.
The WeiserMazars Women’s Network provides the professional women at WeiserMazars a forum through which to explore professional growth and a healthy work-life balance. The WWN provides the following programs:
Annual meetings are held in each office to provide exposure, share goals of the network, and to foster relationships. The WeiserMazars Women’s Network steering committee members conduct meetings and regularly discuss the mission of the network.
Career development events and outings enhance career opportunities, networking, and professional education. A golf clinic teaming event brought together women from all of the WeiserMazars offices.
Luncheons are conducted during the year to discuss helpful topics ranging from professional development and how to improve at work, to how to dress for success. Workshops have included: “Dressing for Success at WeiserMazars” and “Best Practices in Professional Communication”.
Annual events provide additional opportunities to hear from experts and to network with other professionals, both within and outside of WeiserMazars. A female expert conducted a firm-wide event on her inspiring experiences.
Mentoring relationships are encouraged. The network provides a base of women that female professionals can look to when seeking advice, support, and inspiration.
